Alysa S. Grissom, TBLS-BCP, Owner

Mrs. Grissom is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and one of less than 400 distinguished paralegals in the State of Texas who have been certified in a specialty area by the State Board of Legal Specialization. Mrs. Grissom graduated magna cum laude with a business degree from Concordia University of Texas and also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and an Associate of Arts in Government from Austin Community College. 


Before founding Texas Freelance Paralegals, LLC, Mrs. Grissom worked at a boutique law firm with its primary focus in oil and gas and environmental litigation.

Jocelyn Abron, Paralegal

Mrs. Abron is originally from Sulphur Springs, Texas. She attended Tyler Junior College (TJC) in Tyler, Texas where she earned an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and graduated magna cum laude. Mrs. Abron was recognized on the President’s List and Dean’s List every semester in attendance at TJC, and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.  While attending college as a full-time student, Mrs. Abron began her legal career working at a small family law practice. Before joining Texas Freelance Paralegals, LLC, Mrs. Abron was a Paralegal/Office Manager at a well-respected law firm in East Texas where she expanded her professional experience into other areas of law including probate, estate planning, bankruptcy, real estate, and collections.

Ms. Heyder earned her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Tyler Junior College, laying the foundation for her dynamic career as a paralegal. Prior to her role at Texas Freelance Paralegals, she honed her skills working alongside numerous attorneys, delving into diverse areas of law such as probate, family law, criminal defense, and personal injury litigation. Residing in the tranquil outskirts of Tyler, she envisions crafting her dream home while remaining deeply rooted in her community.


jasmine baker, paralegal/marketing manager

Jasmine Baker is a paralegal and the Marketing Manager of Texas Freelance Paralegals. Jasmine is a proud, life-long Austin native.  She was honored as the youngest woman to ever enroll full time in Austin Community College. She earned her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and an associates degree in General Studies from Austin Community College. Ms. Baker is currently attending Texas Tech University to complete her Bachelor's Degree in English with a minor in Marketing. Ms. Baker is also a journalist for the State Bar of Texas’ Paralegal Division and performs marketing services on behalf of several legal services companies. Before beginning her legal journey Jasmine worked as a Nursing Assistant serving our elder community for many years. Today, she is the doting mother of two sons. 


Jordan Grissom, Paralegal/Candidate for J.D.

Jordan Grissom is originally from Mount Pleasant, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Tyler where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After she completed her undergraduate degree she worked in Austin, Texas at a small law firm for  a year while studying for the LSAT. She has completed her second year at St. Mary’s University School of Law and is expected to graduate May of 2025. Since entering law school, Jordan has participated in St. Mary’s study abroad program in Innsbruck, Austria and  is a member of the Women's Law Association and the Family Law Association.
